I am Chris Oldroyd, I work in the North East of England for a Toshiba Air Conditioning Distributor. I am married to Sharon and have a step daughter Tia who is 10.
My passions are gadgets and technology I run the site Mobile Tech Addicts and I also am a cohost of the msmobiles podcast.
I have owned around 50 different mobile phones, laptops, tablet pc’s amd umpc’s and love trying out new gadgets. I am currently using an iPhone and I am really happy with it but as with all gadget lovers we are just waiting for the next great thing to try out. I hope this will be the 3G iPhone that would be perfect for me.

Hi Chris I am a new convert to podcasts and really love the one you do with Gareth. I am currently on a mobile you had ages ago (imate K-Jam) which is slow and prone to lock ups but I have set it up with Tom Tom and SPB Apps and it kinda works ok most of the time. Its time for me to make the switch to 3G and the HTC Touch HD has just landed in Australia and I really want one but noting your comments I should wait until its confirmed that it will get the 6.5 upgrade. Considering it has the same specs as the new Touch Diamond 2 do you think the HD will get an upgrade as well? I wasnt sure where to ask this question from your MTA website. All I could see was a link for news requests. Anyway keep up the good work.
